Autumn ******, of ***********, Iowa, has been accepted as the new child psychologist for the Sunshine Psychology Clinic. Autumn often recalls a favorite quote by Tori Amos, “Some people are afraid of what they might find if they try to analyze themselves too much, but you have to crawl into your own wounds to discover where your fears are. Once the bleeding starts, the cleansing can begin.” “It’s saying that we must accept ourselves for who we are before we can understand how to help ourselves get better. I want to help children see that they are wonderful people, no matter what has happened in their past,” she says. Sunshine Psychology Clinic welcomes new child psychologist, Autumn ******, as wonderful addition to the psychology team. Her skills, experience, and passion for helping children show that she is perfect for the position of child psychologist.
First, Autumn ****** is 24 years old. She is happily married to a renowned engineer and has 2 young children. In her free time, Autumn enjoys photography, reading, and crafts. She owns her own photography studio and likes to spend time there editing photographs. Autumn loves to spend time with her family. Some of their favorite activities to do include cooking meals together and taking walks to the park. Autumn and her family also enjoy visiting Cordova Dragway Park in Cordova, Illinois. “We occasionally get to watch my husband race his IROC-Z Camaro. The kids love to watch their dad out on the drag strip!” Autumn said.
Equally as important, Autumn graduated from *********** High School in 2008. She has recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis on child development from Kaplan University and has pursued studies in both clinical and counseling psychology. She completed an internship with the mental health department at the University of Iowa. Autumn also earned her doctoral degree and has passed the difficult EPPP exam (Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology) which is required to become licensed. All of her hard work eventually paid off because she is now a licensed psychologist and has her PhD in psychology.
In the past, Autumn has been commended on her many achievements. She has been awarded the Mathematics award, as well as the All-American award from the United States Achievement Academy. She has continuously served as a guest speaker and delivered speeches to students in many schools in Eastern Iowa to educate them about teen pregnancy. She has also served as a United Action for Youth representative to deliver a speech on the importance of supporting local clubs and programs for teens to further succeed. Autumn has worked as a nanny and provided childcare for many families. Her volunteer experience includes, but is not limited to, tutoring elementary students, coaching the junior dance and cheer, and providing free lunch to young children in need during the summer. Although Autumn has helped so many people in her community, she never expects anything on return. “I just enjoy being there to make a difference in many lives.” She shared.
As a result of her caring experiences and education, along with her passion for helping those in need, Autumn ****** will make a great addition to our team. She has touched many lives, and will impact so many more. Autumn will be working at the Sunshine Psychology Clinic as the new child psychologist. She will be handling all of our juvenile cases by providing help, support and love to children who are struggling with issues at home or in their lives. She wants to stress the importance of keeping a family whole. Parents will find their once troubled children coping with their negative feelings so they can be happy, vibrant children once again.

I found a 80's model Camaro that runs good for $800 the only thing wrong with it is a dent in the door. I like it but I think its kinda pointless to have an automatic Camaro. I would like to drag race ( Legally ) in the future and I cant really do that with an automatic so how much would it cost to change it to manual?

moreResolved Question: 400 SBC or 402 BBC (which one?)?
I am building a 1982 Z28 Camaro (Indianapolis Pace car model) and am torn between two motors.
I currently am building a 402 big block chevy that I can assume is going to make roughly 400HP/450TQ at the crank (forged internals, balanced crank, mild cam, 396 heads, different manifold) but the problem is weight distribution as far as handling goes, along with the extra weight in general.
My other option is a 400 small block chevy (has a rod nock but I'm not concerned since the motor will be getting stripped down and rebuilt), which would be the better way to go for weight distribution and weight in general. If I were to build this motor I would do 350 vortec heads (drilled with steam holes), 3 series lift (mild cam), air gap manifold and forged internals (possibly). I can assume HP/TQ will be close to the big block...
Future would rather hold the 402 getting 150 shot of nitrous or the 400 getting a super charger with anywhere from 8-12 psi of boost.
Which would be a better way to go? By the way would I change anybody's thoughts if I said it was a TH350 trans (shift kit) and 3.73 (probably changing to 4.10) gears, posi rear. Shooting for a street legal car, 8 point cage, drag radials, harnesses, racing seats, fully gutted, fiberglass hood... really a track car with plates on it so I can drive it down there.Oh yeah, totally forgot to mention about the big block idea. The firewall was going to be cut back and the motor mounts were going to get moved back 2 inches to try and even out weight with the big block. As far as headers went, I picked up a pair of marine boat headers (they were the only thing I knew would clear for a fact)

moreResolved Question: At what point should I shift? Drag racing my '94 Camaro...?
Okay so I want to take my 1994 Chevy Camaro out to the Martin Dragstrip in Michigan this coming summer and I want to know how to get the most out of my car. I've already raced her a couple of times and she's not the fastest but she's okay for me. She's the 3.4L V6 and I haven't gotten anything done to her yet. I know her specs: 160hp, max torque - 3600rpm, max hp - 4600rpm, etc... Since it has max hp at 4600 rpm, would that be the best time to shift? I figure that if it gets the max hp at that point then there is no point in staying in that gear any longer, right? Any other racing tips would be great; yes, I am a girl, and when I go next year, I want to be able to prove that girls can race just as well as guys. Thanks everyone!
moreResolved Question: What kind of rims should I put on my 1971 V8 Vega Wagon?
My 1971 V8 Vega Project is coming to an end and I'm having troubles picking what set of mags I should put on the car. On my 1981 Camaro project that I did last year i used 15/8 Centerline Convo ETon 245 BF Goodrich Radial T/As and they looked really good so I was thinking on doing that again since its available in a four bolt pattern. But then I started thinking on a whole bunch of other rims and I can't make up my mind. I will provide a list of rims that i have been thinking of getting. Please help me pick what you think would look good on a 1971 V8 Vega Wagon and any suggestions on mags that are not on my list of possible selections is also encouraged. (The mags must be four have an available four bolt pattern)
Here is the list.
Centerline Fuel
Centerline Auto Drag
Weld Draglite
American Racing Vintage Sprint Polished
This is all i can think of about know. Here are some things that may help in picking. The car is Black and they will be on a set of 245 BF Goodrich Radial T/A.
moreResolved Question: Concern (For real motorheads)?
I'm into drag racing, I have built a drag car with my father but it seems like it's becoming more of a competition between him and me of who can build a better car now. The IROC we (mainly him) built, can do 11's... anyway besides the point I guess. He doesn't want any part of me building the new hhot rod so I need advice (I can build the car but I lack the experience of the structure of the vehicle).
I have gotten a hold of a 1982 Z28 Camaro that I want to use. I am currently building a 402 BBC, forged internals, 300 duration cam, 396 heads, forged and balanced crank, and possibly 2 stage nitrous system; 150 and 250 shot.
The floorboards are shot, I mean theirs almost nothing left of them. (Let's not forget this is a unibody vehicle). I plan on sheet metaling the floors and have a set of sub frame connectors for the car. I'm assuming its going to be around 450HP/450TQ at the crank (off the nitrous). What are the chances of this thing twisting like a pretzel if I put a set of slicks on it (on spray or off spray)?

moreResolved Question: What is the HP (horsepower) on my Frankenstein 350 Chevy ?
Hi guys...
A little bit of background. I have a 1980 Corvette I have been rebuilding. It is almost done, but now I am very curious about the engine. The engine is not the original, but seems to be a 350 Chevy from a 75 Camaro with a 2 bbl Carburetor(according to the VIN #). At some point, the intake manifold was replaced with one of a 305 engine with its 4bbl Quadrajet carb.... (and maybe other modifications).
Given it is obviously a Frankenstein 350 4bbl engine, would you have an idea of the Horsepower my car has right now? here are some facts:
-The car somewhat rumbles.,... maybe it has a mild cam?
-It accelerates good...once I drag raced against a Toyota Tundra with a 5.7L and I was able to Keep up past the 60 MPH mark
-It has manifolds, no headers
-The original 1975 camaro engine had 145 HP, but it certainly feels like it has more now.
Is there any way to find out? can I time it going from 0 to 60MPH and get an idea? would a dyno test be too rough on an older engine like that? and not knowing how it was put together?
Thank you guys.

moreResolved Question: Tattoo ideas that represent my passion for cars/motorsports.?
I want to get a tattoo that represents my passion for cars. I like the Mr. Horsepower design but i dont really want a bird on my arm. I would also like something that represents Horsepower or speed.I drive and drag race a Chevy Camaro so ive also thought about getting the corvette/chevy racing flags. Does anyone have any unique ideas or pictures of automotive tattoos?
This would have alot of meaning to me since im currently in school minoring in motorsports engineering, and have been working on cars since i was 16. They have been a huge part of my life and kept me out of trouble.yeah the tread marks is a good idea, i just cant find any examples and im not sure i want something going around my arm since it could look like the barb wire that everyone gets.
i might get the corvette racing flag but not for my first tattoo. thanks for the ideas! anyone go anymore?
moreVoting Question: Which car would make a better drag race car?
Looking at both 95 ford mustang GT or a 95 Chevrolet Z-28 Camaro. Know the Camaro would have little more wieght but also little more room to work engine compartment.
2nd question, will be running 1/4 or 1/8 mile, which would be better option. Manual or Automatic. I think I prefer automatic as I can rebuild the factory unit for little by replacing the clutch packs. Let me know your opinion
moreResolved Question: What car is better overall for what i want to do?
i have a '94 pontiac grand am se coupe that has a lot of problems and i might be getting a new car for christmas and was wondering which car is better between these:

1994-2004 Ford Mustang GT/Cobra
2005 Dodge Neon SRT4

2002 Pontiac Trans Am/Firebird Formula
2005-2006 Pontiac GTO

1993 Mazda RX7
2006 Misubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR
or possibly if u have any other suggestions for a car (would prefer it to be used because i looked at a lot of new cars and didn't like them as much)
the requirements that i have are:
powerful enough to beat other vehicles for money in a race (drag races with rolling starts/dead starts and possibly road races, but mostly drag) to help pay for different things (insurance, gas, upgrades, maintenance, ext.)
reliable/good quality
low mileage
good looking
lots of performance upgrades/aftermarket parts available
manual transmission
not too old (<19 yrs) and not more than $35,000 (i don't have the money my grandparents do so don't say stuff like get this and buy all of these things for it with the left over money)
thank you for taking ur time to read my question and if u are answering it thank you again
and i would like ur honest opinion about these cars and any others u have suggested or r going to suggest and please be specific about the cars u suggest

I've got a 79 camaro that i'm putting an lt1 in and it's going to be a drag car. that's what i'm doing for my project, but what will i label it? and what will my paper be about? it has to be analytical (as in analyzing a possibly debatable subject) so i was thinking something along the lines of japanese performance vs. domestic performance, but that is highly opinionated. i also thought about japanese vs. domestic in general, but my car project doesn't connect to that very well. i would love to do after market capabilities (specifically drag racing) on import vs. domestic, but you just don't see that many jappy drag cars. help?!?!?!! thanx:)very valid point, but my issue is, what data exactly do i present?

Why is it that Ford America insists on its slow suicide? The mustang keeps gaining weight, and not so much fun, Saleen might be backing out since they've done a little work for gm, they killed their in house tuner SVT, Roush and Shelby don't have to stay with the new Camaro coming out, Ford just doesn't seem to have anything fun or exciting in its line-up now or on the way. Why is this? And if the mustang is getting a 6.2liter v8 around 2010, how is that gonna help if the thing weighs more than 3500 with the larger engine, sure that might not be a big deal in drag racing, but what about people who want to go around a turn faster than the imports? If I'm wrong on any of this, please give me some links so i can see for myself.

moreResolved Question: Poor 60 foot times Distributor advance Curve or Stall converter???(drag racing)?
I had a past issue with my drag car when I used to leave the starting line my car used to take off a lil lazy(1.8sec) and then after the 60 foot mark I get this sudden outburst of power (like nitrous) I was thinking maybe my Stall converter was too tight(BTE 4000). I put a bigger converter(custom 5000)in and I also noticed the the distributor had 24 degrees of timing on top of my 28 degrees that I put in using the timing light. I also found out it had the slowest advance curve that the msd distributor came with in it. So I took all of the advance curve out of the distributor. I went to the track with my bigger converter and my distributor with no advance. (timing only using timing light 28degrees) Now I get a 1.7 60 foot and it doesnt get that sudden outburst of power anymore. My car weighs 3200lb/w driver. The engine that I have was once in a 67' Camaro weighing 3700lb/w driver and his 60ft was a 1.6 smoking the tires.
1 guy said my converter is too loose.(5000).
Im stompedmy cam is .714 lift and the car has 4:33 gears with a 31 inch tire.
Top end power was always good. My 60 ft times is my weakest link.
Im also thinking about putting the 4000 bte converter back in so see how it runs with it without the slow advance curve

Exit to the main menu, reload Career mode, then go to your garage. The Nissan 240 SX, modern Pontiac GTO, Chevy Cobalt SS, and black Dodge Viper SRT 10 should be in your garage again. Repeat this process as much as desired.
Free Repair Markers
Enter into any Street King Tiers event. You will be given two free Repair Markers. Leave the Race Day, and reenter to get two more free Repair Markers. Repeat this as many times as desired.
Preventing points deducted for damage
Normally points get deducted for wrecking your vehicle when you participate in any career race. However, if you race in any one race and wreck your car, do not repair it. Any other race that you race with that car will no longer take points off for damage. By doing this, you can get the full 500 points toward dominating an event. Note: This only works while in the same car previously damaged during an earlier event.
Recommended dragster
The Toyota Supra with all Level 4 performance parts can do the quarter mile in under 7 seconds if tuned properly. -From: Barry Woods
A really good dragster is the Dodge Challenger R/T. The car runs 7.6 seconds in the quarter mile fully upgraded. If you make the rear shocks stiff, the car will stand on the rear end all the way down the track, and will do over 1,000 foot wheelies. If you make the rear shocks soft, you can run 7.6 seconds in the quarter mile and not have to worry about the front end lifting up. Some tuning will be needed, and knowledge of cars will definitely help.
A good dragster is the Nissan 240SX. The first chance you get, choose the 240SX. Put on all the best performance parts you can afford. Remember, you need a lot of speed and traction. After you start setting new track records, you will be invited to race Karol Monroe the Drag King.
Defeating Ryo Watanabe
Use the following cars to defeat Ryo Watanabe. Upgrade all cars with Level 4 performance parts and max out the aerodynamics. Note: Bring lots of Total Markers to Race Day.
Grip: Pagani Zonda. Use a "Free Car Marker" for this car, if available. You can also use this car to defeat the Grip King.
Drag: Ford Shelby GT500 or Chevrolet Chevelle SS. Do not do anything to the aerodynamics of the Chevelle. You can also use those cars to defeat the Drag King.
Drift: BMW Z4 M Coupe. Even though it has low stats, it is a great drift car. You can use this car to defeat the Drift King. Alternately, use the Mazda RX-7 if you have won it from the Drift King. It already has all Level 4 performance parts; all you have to do to it is increase its aerodynamics.
Speed: Ford GT. You can also use this car to defeat the Speed King.

im really curious because i have 2 friends going out to race today. nothing official. just on a small stretch of highway. it is a quarter mile exactly. my friend john has a 1994 suzuki katana 600cc. its very fast. but im not much of a motorcycle rider and ive only driven it once. he said its all stock but has an ignition advancer? and aftermarket k +n pipes with a carbuerator jet kit. tim has a 1995 camaro z-28 that is very fast. he doesnt have any engine modifications but i know he has put a computer chip in it to boost horsepower and a freeflow exhaust. just curious as what will win? yeah we are placing bets for money. not alot but of cash but we are up to over $400. i sure would like to win a few bucks. any advice on which will be fastest?
moreResolved Question: How much will it cost to do a LT1 to a LS6 swap in a 93 Camaro Z28?
Hey yall, I have a 93 Camaro Z28 automatic. The autos are better for drag racing. It has the LT1 engine, LT4 Kit, exhaust, intake, 4.10 Gears, shift kit and is pushin around 425-450 HP. My question is, how much will a LS6 cost to swap into my car?
Thank yallok this guys a real genius when it comes to drag racing lol. once you turbocharge a car the auto is better. so what are YOU thinking?
in a manual when you shift you release the boost that has been built up than your car has to rebuild the boost again.
in an auto its there before you launch if you have a stall converter.
your a rocket scientist arent ya

moreResolved Question: 1969 Yenko Camaro vs 1969 boss 429 mustang who would win in a drag?
you know (the Yenko Built by Don Yenko) with the 450hp 427 Corvette Inspired Engine while the boss has its 429 which had i believe 375hp obvious the Yenko Camaro Would kill the 69'boss due to the Yenko Camaro Having more Horsepower im more of a Chevy guy anyways i have Camaros the only ford i would ever drive is probably 1967 Shelby GT500 or a New 2007 Shelby GT500 than that the Camaro/Corvette will kill any ford even the Shelby GT500's 67' or 2007since the Z28 and or SS Camaro's are nearly identical to the Corvette in fact the only thing is that GM/Chevy detunes the Camaro so that it is not 100% Corvette if it wasnt for that The Camaro Would be exactly a Corvette base and or Z06 but anyways who would win between a 1969 SYC Yenko Camaro 427 450hp vs a 1969 boss 429 mustang 375hp in a straight drag race?

moreResolved Question: Suspension for a 1969 Camaro?
I recently took up a project helping to restore a 1969 Camaro. The car will actually be participating in a racing circuit, but not some silly drag strip: real racing, with real tight corners and both left and right turns. I know, *gasp*, more than one turn.
Enough with the jokes though. Anyone know of a good place to find parts for this car that would give it a suspension setup worthy of real track car? We've already aquired a LS2 small block that will be mated with a STS Turbo system and a six speed automatic transmission. No retro engine or tranny here, we need fuel economy and oodles of power.
We don't want to put this car to the track and only be able to take the sparse and short straight-aways. I was thinking that maybe we could use the 2007 Corvette Z06 suspension, but how would that work? Are there any shops you all could recommend?

When cops were a little younger, back when they were in their teens or early 20s, I'm sure even they sped around and enjoyed having fun burning rubber in some Firebird or Camaro. I'm 28 years old and I still haven't had that V8 yet and I really want to speed and burn rubber at some point with one, but without the risk of getting a ticket.
Remember when those cops stop the drag races in
"The Fast and the Furious" and its sequel?
